change my ign (1dp) = cant loggin anymore =[

so ya, I changed my ign via the donor npc, then i dced. and now i am unable to play.
i created a new character using the same account, but i am still unable to play =[
(after i enter my pic for my character i am unable to connect to the game)
oh. when i reach the character selection screen it shows my old ign. does this have anything to do with it?
can a GM help me or does anyone know any solutions to this?

You made another character and it still didn't work?! 
& you do know that if you make another character, you lose all your vote & donor points..

Wait so is it like, you enter your PIC and your maplestory shuts off, or you enter your PIC and you get disconected?

shortly after i enter my PIC, it goes straight to the welcome screen saying im not able to connect to the game =\
