Possible reasons:

1) Majority of the MapleStory players are rather young, they would lose a rather large amount of their population if parents knew the game their children played allowed gay marriages.

2) Nexon is homophobic and does not support gay marriage.

Haha yeah, Nexon would be losing players but I think It'll also hype up a new interest but for such risk, eh, I guess they wouldn't take it but since this is a private server and what keeps them alive is our suggestions, I think it's a good choice for them to add it in <3

I'm sure gay marriage should work due to the fact that we have a gender bender in the FM now, which turns you into a 'Lady Gaga' (transexual).
